First Presbyterian Learning Center is looking for a VPK teacher! We are a faith-based preschool dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children grow academically, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and caring VPK teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys working collaboratively, and is committed to helping children develop a lifelong love of learning.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropraite VPK lessons that align with Florida Early Learning & Development standards.
- Create a positive, engaging, and Christ-centered classroom environment.
- Foster children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Conduct required assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
- Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe classroom
- Supervise children at all times, including playground, lunch, and transition periods.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to provide high-quality instruction.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.50 per hour
