Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for maximizing independence
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy practices
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of sensory integration
- Experience working with Early Intervention children ages 0-3
- In-depth understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient service and collaboration with healthcare team members
- Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals
