AK Aerospace Technology Corp. is seeking a highly motivated Electronics Test Engineer to support the NASA/GSFC programs. Specific duties for this position include the following:
Job Description:
- Support development, integration, testing, verification and operations of spaceflight, airborne and ground system hardware.
- Design and development of the Ground Support Equipment for Avionics and Spacecraft.
- Support integration and test of flight hardware
- Develop test scripts, interface HW/SW, collect test data
- Develop test procedures and requirements verification plan
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field with 5-10 years relevant experience in related field and skills and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in troubleshooting analog and digital circuits
- Experience with benchtop equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators and power supplies
- Experience developing ground test systems for flight avionics
- Experience in the integration and test of flight hardware from development through delivery
- Some experience writing ASIST test scripts, developing an ASIST database, and developing ASIST pages.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior NASA or aerospace industry experience
- Able to work in a team environment
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- LabVIEW or Python programming
Must be a US citizen or a US Permanent Residence with ability to pass a Government background investigation.
