At Frost, our people are our greatest asset. As an HR Generalist II, you will play a key role in supporting employees and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle while helping create an exceptional employee experience.
The HR Generalist II will lead experienced-hire recruiting efforts while also serving as a trusted HR resource to managers and employees. This role will administer leave and accommodation programs, support benefits administration, ensure compliance with employment laws and Firm policies, and provide operational support across a broad range of human resources functions. This position requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your key responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for experienced and professional positions, including workforce planning with hiring managers, sourcing, interviewing, building talent pipelines, coordinating the hiring process, extending offers, conducting pre-employment screenings, and onboarding new hires.
- Prepare offer letters, employment agreements, and other employment-related documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, provide recruiting guidance, and ensure an outstanding candidate experience.
- Work with incumbents and hiring managers to develop job descriptions.
- Monitor recruiting metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance hiring effectiveness and candidate experience.
- Provide training to interviewers on proper recruiting procedures, requirements, and legalities.
- Coordinate with recruiting vendors and external partners to support hiring initiatives.
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee transitions.
- Administer Family and Medical Leave (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, Workers' Compensation, and other employee leave programs.
- Support performance management initiatives, leadership development programs, training initiatives, and HR compliance efforts.
- Assist the HR Specialist with benefits administration, enrollment changes, employee questions, and benefit communications as needed.
- Assist with HRIS administration, system testing, data integrity, reporting, and process improvement.
- Prepare HR reports, analyze workforce metrics, and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws across the Firm’s locations and remote employee population.
- Apply Firm policies, procedures, and practices consistently and accurately.
- Communicate clearly, listen actively, and apply sound problem-solving skills.
- Exercise sound judgment, professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive employee and business matters.
- Demonstrate continuous learning by maintaining current knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance HR operations and the employee experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting for professional-level positions.
- Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, FLSA, EEO, and other employment laws.
- Benefits administration experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and trust across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience working within an HRIS and leveraging technology to improve HR processes; BambooHR experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred but not required.
- Ability to travel occasionally to Firm offices and recruiting events.
