Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavioral therapy plans and support their progress. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through evidence-based practices and personalized care. The RBT will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services in a supportive and professional environment. Services are provided in-center with consistent hours.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Support clients in developing communication, social, and behavioral skills through teaching strategies.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical standards related to patient care, behavior management, and confidentiality.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques, especially Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and document data accurately for progress tracking.
- Excellent teaching skills with a patient-centered approach tailored to individual needs.
- Compassionate communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to maintain professionalism while managing sensitive information within medical documentation standards. Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
