Dishwasher / Kitchen Support – Cafe Jackson HoleOverview
Join the team at Cafe Jackson Hole, a busy local coffee shop and café serving breakfast, lunch, pastries, and specialty coffee in the heart of Jackson Hole. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Support team member to help keep our kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in cleanliness, and wants to be part of a friendly and supportive team. The typical schedule is 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, making it a great daytime position with consistent hours.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, baking trays, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and stocked throughout the day.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks when needed.
- Take out trash, recycling, and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas.
- Help organize deliveries and supplies.
- Support baristas and kitchen staff during busy breakfast and lunch service.
- Assist with daily cleaning and end-of-day closing duties.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Previous restaurant, café, or kitchen experience is helpful but not required.
- Willingness to assist wherever needed and work as part of a team.
