Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hand Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions when they have a Medical diagnosis and a plan from the provider. Post operative treatment is also part of this position. Also the ability to make custom Orthosis is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities in daily activities.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adapt therapy techniques based on patient response and feedback, ensuring a person-centered approach.
Skills .
- Excellent patient care skills according to research and practice by experienced Orthopedic Therapists with a focus on empathy and support.
- Knowledge of the anatomy of the hand and ability to move patients in a positive directions regarding their ability to use their hand and pain relief.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Proven patient care skills with a focus on rehabilitation
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
- Experience in developing and implementing care plans
- Fabrication of custom orthosis is a requirement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
