SERVER JOB DESCRIPTION:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with hosts, cooks and other staff. Server Responsibilities:

Establish a unique menu presentation for both new guests & regular guests

Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude

Write patrons' food orders on order slips or enter orders into handhelds/terminals for transmission to kitchen staff

Engage with customers in a friendly manner knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions

Understand terms of dietary needs such as Celiac, Gluten Free, Vegan, what they mean, and what food items we can offer to fulfill those needs.
- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems

Collect payments from tables

Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes

Assist other employees with any job duties to help the restaurant run efficiency
- Training new hires/employees new to position

Perform assigned opening, running and closing side work to the highest standards
- When caddies remain on the tables, refilling the sugar caddie is done by that specific server in that section.
