Florida Class D Security License

Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License

Valid Driver's License

Valid Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Permit

Guardian Safe School Officer Training Certificate (Aaron Feis Program)

At least 3 years of combined experience in law enforcement, armed security, corrections, military, or emergency response

High school diploma or GED
-
At least 21 years of age
-
Legally to work in the United States

Ability to pass a background investigation, psychological evaluation, and drug screening

Must provide your own duty firearm, Level III retention holster, duty belt, and five magazines

Maintain a visible security presence throughout assigned school campuses.

Patrol school buildings and grounds to ensure a safe environment.

Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and security concerns.

Monitor and enforce school safety policies and procedures.

Use effective communication and deescalation techniques to resolve conflicts.

Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, and visitors.

Assist with emergency drills and campus safety initiatives.

Complete incident reports and required documentation accurately and on time.

Perform other duties as assigned in support of school safety and security.
