Duties
- Safely load and unload trucks using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, and forklifts while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, verifying items against shipping documents
- Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory movement and update inventory control systems
- Organize products on warehouse shelves or staging areas, ensuring proper merchandising and stock rotation
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment or storage
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring a safe working environment
- Support inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience or retail sales background preferred; familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly while following safe lifting practices
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners is highly desirable; certification is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and shipping & receiving processes
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are advantageous for diverse team collaboration
- Capable of manual handling tasks including stocking, merchandising, and materials handling in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
