Job Summary

Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly to maintain a clean dining area
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup assistance
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers, sinks, and prep tools
- Maintain cleanliness of all food service areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays or boxes of supplies while adhering to proper ergonomic practices
- Follow all sanitation standards to ensure kitchen health and safety compliance at all times
Skills
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and prep tools
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in fast-paced settings
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting colleagues
- Basic understanding of culinary practices or catering experience is a plus but not mandatory
