Qualifications:

High School Diploma
-
Valid first aid card
-
Washington State driver's license
-
Successful completion of Washington State Patrol background clearance and fingerprint check
Skills & Responsibilities:
-
Be familiar with processing MAP testing and reporting
-
Establish positive relationships with students.
-
Prepares specified learning materials or equipment for use in classroom.
-
Reports on learning or difficulties encountered by students to the certificated staff member.
-
Assists with test administration.
-
Scores objective tests according to procedures prescribed by certificated personnel.
-
Operates automated instructional equipment.
-
Ability to handle disruptions and behavior problems.
-
Reports learning or other difficulties encountered by students to the certificated staff.
-
Must be punctual and have good attendance.
-
Performs other appropriate duties as assigned.

Must be a quick learner with good math and computation skills.

Keyboarding experience required.

Aid program staff in managing care of autistic students.

Ability to work with body fluids.

Prepares specified learning materials or equipment for use by students.

Reports on learning or difficulties encountered by students to the certificated staff member or supervisor.

Ability to handle disruptions and behavior problems.

Reports learning or other difficulties encountered by students to the certificated staff or supervisor.

Must be punctual and have good attendance.

Performs other appropriate duties as assigned.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

Relieves the teacher of routine clerical duties in the classroom.

Ability to get along with students, staff, and community.

Ability to be a positive role model and always maintain a positive attitude toward students.

Computer and clerical skills as assessed by school administration, including the possible use of objective testing if determined appropriate by school administration.
