We need a seasoned, procedure driven Front End Manager/Pricing Coordinator (with experience in developing operatonal systems) to join our Front End team here at the store. Collaborates with other associates to build a strong Front End team; communicating with the members of the team; and being flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
MUST HAVE EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP SKILLS. PREFER EXPERIENCE IN RETAIL FRONT END MANAGEMENT.
- Be an Owner: Ensures commitment to operational excellence, maintaining work area according to company policies and procedures; assisting Customers with purchasing decisions; and ensuring merchandise is properly labeled, stored, Identified, and rung up in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Being an advocate for the department by valuing the Customers experience at check out and modeling high quality service and products; executing the basics at highest possible level of quality; and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Standing on your feet and occasional lifting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily operations of the store's check out and customer service areas, as well as point-of-sale (POS) areas of the store. Primary duties include training and scheduling cashiers, handling escalated customer concerns, managing cash drawer reconciliations, developing operational systems that will ensure department efficiency and accurate transactions, maintains a welcoming, efficient shopping environment.
- Prioritizing department activities while managing details to complete tasks within deadlines.
- The ability to develop systems that will benefit the department and ensure smooth daily success and accuracy.
- Implementation of various policies including refund policy and pricing errors.
- Responsible for operating the customer service desk function, answer store telephone, maintain communications via email.
- Ensuring cashiers are ringing up customers ACCURATELY and quickly.
- Ordering supplies e.g. register tape, deposit bags, etc.
