American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a Diagnostic Radiology position requiring 2+ years of experience, with strong skills in portable, trauma, and OR imaging.

Work in a Diagnostic Radiology (DX) department within a large 800-bed acute care hospital
-
Unit is located on the 2nd floor of the F Tower
-
Hospital serves as the region's referral center and only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III NICU, and children's hospital
-
Procedures include all diagnostic imaging, portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical imaging
-
Equipment includes GE radiology rooms, GE and Shiatzu portables, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms
-
EMR is Cerner Rad Net
-
12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday through Sunday

Weekend rotation required
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, with active experience within the last 6 months

ARRT (R) certification required
-
BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

Proficiency in all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and OR imaging

ED trauma imaging experience required

Fluoroscopic procedure experience preferred

License required if applicable

SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Perform diagnostic imaging across all modalities including portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical settings

Day shift staffing includes 16 technologists and a supervisor; evening shift includes 10 technologists, 2 student techs, and a supervisor

Ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who can also work independently

Black scrubs required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
