American Traveler is hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist with outpatient experience for a 13-week travel contract at a regional medical center, utilizing Epic EMR.
-
Outpatient occupational therapy setting at a regional medical center
-
Day shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
-
Patient population spans all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
-
Caseload includes ADLs, sensorimotor, perceptual-motor, educational, recreational, and social activities
-
Swingbed patient assessments included as part of the caseload
-
Home health and contracted facility therapy services may be required
-
EMR: Epic (experience required); Medication system: Omnicell
-
Saturday and Sunday off

Active OT license required if applicable
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
-
M.S. or B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy required
-
Current NBCOT registration required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
ND state licensure required
-
Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized OT programs to restore physical and/or mental functioning
-
Design, fabricate, and fit adaptive devices such as splints and braces
-
Conduct work site analyses and provide ergonomic assessment reports with recommendations
-
Supervise Rehab Aides, COTA, students, and Rehab Secretary/Aide as needed
-
Participate in training medical and nursing personnel in OT techniques and objectives
-
Works under the supervision of the Rehab Manager within established department policies
-
Required online modules must be completed prior to start

Travelers with previous employment at this facility must disclose it for a DNU check
