This position has three levels based on technical expertise, productivity, quality, independence, troubleshooting ability, and leadership contribution.
- Perform testing and functional evaluation of IT assets
- Execute data wiping and sanitization procedures according to company and client standards
- Diagnose hardware issues and determine disposition status
- Install, configure, or image operating systems and software as required
- Process assets according to operational workflows and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate asset tracking and documentation
- Follow chain-of-custody and data security procedures
- Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround expectations
- Maintain organized and compliant workstations
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety standards
- Escalate technical or operational issues appropriately
- Support inventory control and asset reconciliation processes
- Level 1: High School Diploma and at 0-1 years of IT technical support, warehouse technology, or electronics experience preferred
- Level II: High School diploma and at least 2-4 years of ITAD, IT Support, repair, refurbishment, or technical operations
- Level III: High School Diploma and at least 4+ years of ITAD, Computer repair experience and strong knowledge of processes
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment (dust, noise, temperature changes).
- Ability to work at computer stations and testing benches for extended periods of time
- Ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive tasks, including handling small electronic components and tools.
