We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team. As the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our facilities. Your primary duties will include:
- Managing and supervising a team of engineers and technicians
- Developing and implementing maintenance programs for all building systems
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Coordinating with contractors and vendors for repairs and installations
- Developing and managing the department budget
- Overseeing the operation of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems
- Fabricating or modifying equipment as needed
- Implementing energy-saving initiatives to reduce costs

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices
- Proven experience in managing a team of engineers and technicians
- Expertise in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Proficiency in project management techniques
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and control logic controllers (PLCs)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
