Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Neurologist to join our growing multi-specialty practice. This is an excellent opportunity to build a thriving outpatient neurology practice while working alongside an experienced team of primary care providers and specialists dedicated to delivering exceptional, coordinated patient care.
The ideal candidate is committed to providing evidence-based neurological care, values collaboration, and enjoys developing long-term relationships with patients. Our practice emphasizes preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and continuity of care, allowing providers to make a meaningful impact on patients' quality of life.
Common conditions treated include, but are not limited to:
- Headaches and migraines
- Epilepsy and seizure disorders
- Peripheral neuropathy
- Dementia and cognitive disorders
- Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders
- Multiple sclerosis
- Stroke and post-stroke management
- Neuromuscular disorders
- Tremors, dizziness, and other neurological conditions
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of neurological conditions.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient consultations and follow-up care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic studies, including neuroimaging, laboratory testing, EEGs, EMGs, nerve conduction studies, and other neurological evaluations as appropriate.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, disease management, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Support population health initiatives and promote evidence-based clinical practices.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency Program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in OK.
- DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an outpatient neurology practice.
- Fellowship training in one or more of the following:
- Headache Medicine
- Epilepsy
- Movement Disorders
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology
- Neuromuscular Medicine
- Sleep Medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, collaborative care.
Pay: $250,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
