JOB The City of Wilmington is hiring Seasonal Sports Officials for the Parks & Recreation Department. Sports Officials help run City athletic programs by officiating games and keeping them safe, fair, and organized. This position reports to the Athletic Coordinator. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Sports Officials officiate youth and adult athletic games for City recreation programs. Officials make rule calls, manage game flow, and help keep games running on time. They are responsible for maintaining a safe playing environment and controlling the game when needed.
