ANALYST I / MONTEREY DISTRICT / ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
The reporting location for this position is the Monterey District Office located at 2211 Garden Road, Monterey CA 93940. This position will work under the supervision of the District Administrative Chief (Supervisor II).
The Monterey District is seeking a highly efficient self starter to join the Administrative Team as the Personnel Office Analyst I. The Analyst I will work in the District's Personnel Office and assist in the planning, developing, and coordination of specialized projects and assignments. Work at this level is to be completed with supervision and review. Duties include but are not limited to timekeeping, hiring, separations, workers compensation, health benefits, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), training, and customer service.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.

Work environment is an office setting, using computer, telephone, and other business equipment. Typical work activities involve frequent and prolonged periods of sitting. Typical work involves extended telephone conversations and keyboard operation. Lift supply boxes up to 10 lbs. and move heavier supplies using a hand cart. Requires reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, grasping and making repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.
