Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Complete bio-psychosocial assessments with assigned patients
- Critically assess assigned patients to provide the best continuum of care
- Facilitate therapeutic services including process, psychoeducation and experiential group therapy
- Conduct individual therapy sessions
- Effectively communicate with family members regarding updates and family concerns
- Effectively communicate with discharge to team to facilitate accurate and clinically appropriate discharge planning
- Skilled at understanding the disease of addiction as well as recognizable client cognitions and behavior.
- Timely and accurate completion of documentation utilizing EMR.
- Communicate patient progress with appropriate referral sources and monitoring agencies.
- Attend weekly treatment team meetings, weekly clinical supervision, and patient behavioral staffings
- Utilize empirically supported theoretical orientations and behavioral interventions for creation of individualized treatment plans
- Effectively communicate any concerns and utilize multidisciplinary team to develop strategies to modify behaviors
- Effective use of multi-culturally competent strategies and approaches to patients in substance use population
- Other duties as assigned
