Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Food Delivery Driver to support our club operations by delivering food to multiple club sites each weekday. This role is vital in ensuring our members receive timely, safe, and nutritious meals and snacks.
Pick up and deliver food to various Boys & Girls Club locations on a daily schedule.
Safely operate a 12-passenger van.
Load and unload food items while ensuring proper handling and care.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and organizational policies.
Communicate effectively with club staff regarding delivery schedules or delays.
Conduct basic vehicle checks and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license (required) with a clean driving record.
Comfortable driving a 12-passenger van.
Ability to lift and carry 20–30 pounds.
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Paid training provided.
Regular driving and physical activity, including lifting and carrying food items.
Exposure to varying weather conditions.
