Floater Administrative Assistant covers teachers in the classroom when needed, and assists the Director and Assistant Director in basic administrative tasks such as filing, answering the phone, handing information to staff, covering teacher’s breaks, attending daily teacher’s and parent’s needs, and overall clerical duties. And ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Assure that all students, parents and school employees live in a safe-learning-nurturing environment. Constantly following professional practices consistent with the preschool policies in working with students, parents and colleagues. Assisting and supporting in all classrooms when required following all DCDEE rules and regulations while supervising children at all times and promoting a nurturing environment.
