We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to support a fast-paced just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing environment specializing in CNC machining, turning, fabrication, laser cutting, waterjet cutting, welding, and sheet metal manufacturing. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory transactions, coordinating material flow throughout the facility, and ensuring inventory accuracy within the Infor SyteLine ERP system. The Inventory Coordinator will also be responsible for the receipt of incoming materials, purchased parts, and office supplies, as well as the application and issuance of materials to jobs within the ERP system to ensure accurate job costing and inventory tracking. The Inventory Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting production throughput, minimizing shortages, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring smooth material movement in a dynamic just-in-time manufacturing environment with frequent schedule changes and expedited work. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations and works closely with production, purchasing, quality control, shipping/receiving, and accounting personnel.
Job Requirements:

Receive incoming raw materials, purchased parts, production supplies, and office supplies.

Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation.

Enter receiving transactions accurately into the SyteLine ERP system.

Properly identify and mark all incoming materials with the correct item number and purchase order number immediately upon receipt.

Ensure all inventory labels and markings remain legible and attached to the material throughout storage and production flow.

Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.

Process inventory transactions accurately and timely within SyteLine ERP.

Apply and issue raw materials to manufacturing jobs within the ERP system.

Ensure materials are issued correctly to maintain accurate job costing and inventory valuation.

Coordinate movement of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods throughout the facility.

Monitor material shortages and communicate risks proactively to production and purchasing teams.

Coordinate inventory related to outside processing operations including paint, powder coating, anodizing, plating, passivation, and other outsourced services.

Work closely with production supervisors, machine operators, fabrication personnel, quality control, shipping/receiving, purchasing, and accounting.

Maintain organization and cleanliness of receiving and inventory storage areas.

Required Experience / Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous manufacturing, inventory, or receiving experience preferred.

Experience in a machine shop, fabrication shop, or manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Experience using ERP systems required; SyteLine ERP experience strongly preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-changing just-in-time manufacturing environment.

Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and ERP data entry.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Forklift experience preferred.

Additional Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and bend, and regularly wear safety PPE properly, such as respirators, hearing and eye protection, and safety footwear. Required to be standing for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
