My Handyman of Wichita is looking to add another Handyman Technician to the team.
We are a growing local handyman company serving homeowners across Wichita and the surrounding area. This role is for someone who is reliable, hands-on, personable, and comfortable working inside customers’ homes.
The right person should enjoy variety, take pride in doing quality work, and be able to communicate respectfully with homeowners while completing small repairs, installs, maintenance, and punch-list style projects.
This is not a sit-around job. We stay moving, solve problems, and take care of people’s homes the right way.
Responsibilities
- Complete handyman repairs, installs, and home maintenance projects
- Work in customers’ homes in a professional and respectful manner
- Communicate clearly with customers and the company
- Keep tools, materials, and job sites organized
- Take photos and notes as needed for job documentation
- Follow company processes for work orders, scheduling, and job completion
- Represent My Handyman of Wichita with a positive, trustworthy attitude
Common Work Includes
- Door, trim, and hardware repairs
- TV mounting and furniture assembly
- Faucet, fixture, and small plumbing-related installs
- Drywall patching and touch-ups
- Fence, deck, and exterior repairs
- Painting, staining, and caulking
- Gutter cleaning and minor exterior maintenance
- General home repair and to-do list projects
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to start
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable working in customers’ homes
- Hands-on experience with tools and home repairs
- Good communication skills
- Personable, respectful, and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently after training
- Willingness to follow company systems and processes
Compensation & Benefits
- $20+ per hour depending on experience
