Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, and process sales transactions efficiently
- Food preparation tasks, following recipes and ensuring timely service
- Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to proper handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, kitchen, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments and issuing receipts
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience with cocktail making, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage service enhances your suitability for this role
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in fine dining settings or upscale establishments is a plus but not required
