Summary
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver (Class A) to join our team at Northwest Grading Inc.
Northwest Grading Inc is currently seeking qualified candidates (Truck Driver) to fill multiple positions within our Heavy Civil Construction team. We are a reputable company operating in Idaho, Washington, Montana, and North Dakota, specializing in excavating, pipelaying, road construction, infrastructure, grading, and water & sewer facilities.

Responsibilities
- Operate various types of trucks including dump trucks, end dump trucks, belly dumps and tractor-trailers.
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials at job sites.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules and any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially with manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with different types of trucks including dump trucks, end dumps, and tractor/trailers.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations in commercial driving.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Must pass a drug screen, followed by random quarterly screens.
- Clean driving record: MVR checks will be conducted and followed up quarterly.
- Must be registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearing House (FMCSA)
- Have a valid Medical Card
