We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Catering Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food and service for events, creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. You will oversee all catering operations, ensuring high-quality food and service delivery for events ranging from corporate meetings to social gatherings. You'll collaborate with clients to determine their event requirements, manage a dedicated catering staff, and plan diverse menus in close coordination with chefs. Your main goal will be to maintain budgetary oversight, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and foster a culture of excellence, making every event a memorable one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and preferences
- Plan and execute catering services for various events
- Develop and customize menus in collaboration with chefs
- Hire, train, and manage catering staff
- Schedule staff and assign duties for events
- Monitor budgets and control costs to ensure profitability
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Coordinate with vendors and external service providers
- Handle on-site problem solving during events
- Pitch in on-site leadership when the manager is out, so nothing skips a beat
- Promote catering services and build client relationships
Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to plan and manage budgets

- Proficiency in event planning and coordination
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Open to taking on more responsibility as opportunities come up
- Work some weekends, evenings, and holidays
