Experience with firestop systems is helpful but not required for candidates with strong commercial construction or drywall experience.
What You'll Do
- Install and repair firestop and smoke-stop systems
- Perform commercial drywall repairs and wall restoration
- Repair penetrations in rated walls and floor assemblies
- Install access doors and wall components
- Apply fire caulking and sealants
- Read blueprints and Life Safety Plans
- Document work using tablet-based software
- Maintain safe and professional job sites
- Work directly with customers and facility personnel
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 1+ year of drywall, construction, carpentry, firestop, or related trade experience
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel up to 50% Nationwide
Preferred:
- Firestop installation experience
- Commercial drywall experience
- Healthcare construction experience
- Hilti or STI certifications
- Blueprint reading experience
Travel & Work Environment
This position combines local project work with travel opportunities throughout the United States.
Projects may take place in:
- Hospitals
- Healthcare facilities
- Commercial buildings
- Active construction environments
