Summary
The machine operator position will be trained to operate all HSF production equipment and perform associated warehousing duties under the supervision and direction of Manufacturing or BU Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures
· Operate stretch forming equipment as trained and instructed
· Adjust program parameters, as trained, based off production process evolution
· Read and understand work instructions and job routers for different products
· Use automated bandsaws to process product
· Build crates and pack product as trained and required per work instructions
· Perform quality control checks as directed, per training and required per work instructions
· Perform warehousing duties as requested, including but not limited to operation a forklift,
· Perform basic maintenance tasks as requested
· Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to Production Manager/Quality Manager.
· Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow company safety requirements.
- Will be trained to understand and perform the basic work flow and machine set-up for all equipment (cross-trained) including part loading/unloading and basic die set-ups.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints (basic), safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional overtime (daily, weekly & weekend work) may be required as job duties demand.
