Current FedEx-System Experience Required
This position is open only to drivers who are currently active within the FedEx delivery system. Applicants must currently drive for a FedEx service provider or contractor and have recent experience operating FedEx routes. Current driver status and experience will be verified.
Limited-Time Hiring Incentives
- $800 Fast-Start Bonus: Eligible current FedEx drivers who accept an offer and complete onboarding between July 27 and July 31, 2026, and successfully complete their first 30 days of employment, will receive an $800 bonus after the 30-day period.
- $200 Referral Bonus: Employees will receive $200 for every eligible current FedEx driver they refer who is hired and begins employment with the company.
Job Overview
We are immediately hiring dependable, experienced delivery drivers who are currently working within the FedEx system to join our team in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
As a delivery driver, you will operate a company-provided step van or P1000 truck and deliver packages along an assigned route. This is a fast-paced, physically active position requiring reliability, sound judgment, attention to safety, and professional customer service.
Because we are hiring for immediate openings, applicants must already be familiar with FedEx delivery operations, scanning procedures, safety expectations, service requirements, and route execution.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided step van or P1000 delivery vehicle.
- Pick up, load, organize, transport, and deliver packages.
- Complete assigned routes accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT requirements, FedEx standards, and company safety procedures.
- Use a handheld mobile device for navigation, package scanning, delivery tracking, and communication.
- Enter and exit the delivery vehicle repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Safely lift, carry, and handle packages of varying sizes and weights.
- Complete deliveries accurately and provide proper proof of delivery.
- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records.
- Promptly report delivery problems, vehicle concerns, and safety incidents.
- Assist with package sorting, loading, and warehouse operations when needed.
Requirements
- Must be a current driver within the FedEx delivery system.
- Must have recent experience running FedEx delivery routes.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Safe and responsible driving record.
- Familiarity with FedEx scanners, route procedures, service standards, and delivery documentation.
- Dependability, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
- Availability to begin work immediately.
- Ability to work independently and complete an assigned route.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to commute to Hermitage, PA, or relocate before starting.
Applicants without current FedEx-system driving experience will not be considered for this immediate-start position.
