Core Responsibilities-
Prioritize workplace safety by strictly adhering to all established procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out protocols.

Help maintain a productive facility by ensuring all assigned machinery remains in optimal working order.

Identify and resolve machine malfunctions to minimize downtime and restore operational efficiency.

Conduct thorough inspections of all equipment to detect potential issues and perform necessary repairs or part replacements as outlined in the preventative maintenance schedule.

Execute routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and oiling machinery to support long-term equipment health.

Monitor equipment performance and communicate any irregularities or concerns directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Carry out essential mechanical tasks and pipe fitting duties.

Utilize arc welding equipment to perform necessary repairs and fabrications.

Ensure all machinery fluid levels are monitored and replenished to maintain peak operational standards.

Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to facilitate the procurement of necessary replacement components.

Fabricate custom replacement parts for machinery as the need arises.

Maintain building infrastructure by performing general upkeep, including cleaning and greasing systems per the maintenance program.

Support facility operations by handling general building repairs, such as fixing door hardware, assembling furniture, addressing minor plumbing issues, and replacing light bulbs.

Assist in the installation of new equipment and contribute to process improvements to enhance cycle times and overall efficiency.

Configure robotic welding stations by accessing and managing the relevant software programs.

Modify equipment settings and swap welding fixtures to guarantee consistent, high-quality output.

Engage actively in Continuous Improvement initiatives to help drive ongoing operational excellence.

Oversee the modification of current systems and the installation of new machinery as required.

Diagnose and resolve electrical or electronic system errors to ensure all controls and safety features operate correctly.

Execute scheduled electrical maintenance tasks, including part repairs or replacements, in alignment with company automotive standards.

Maintain full compliance with all Occupational Safety and Health Act regulations.

Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Foster a safe and organized workspace by upholding 5S principles, helping to ensure a clean and efficient environment for the entire team.
Required Qualifications
Education
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
Professional Experience

Bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and repair.

Demonstrate the ability to interpret and utilize technical blueprint drawings effectively.

Utilize your background with high-tonnage presses, automation systems, robotics, and welding equipment to support production goals.

Apply your deep understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure the reliability of automation equipment.
