LSU Football Game Day Catering Staff
Please note: This is not a culinary or cooking position.
Drakes Catering is hiring seasonal, part-time employees to work during LSU home football games in Tiger Stadium. Our Game Day Catering Staff helps keep food and beverage service running smoothly in premium suites, clubs, buffets, and concession-style stations.
Available assignments may include:
- Food runners
- Bussers
- Buffet servers
- Station attendants for hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, ice cream, and similar items
These positions are a great opportunity for first-time employees, college students, retirees, and experienced workers looking for seasonal weekend work.
Schedule
This is a seasonal, part-time position limited to LSU home football game days. Employees must be available to work the required Saturday home games.

- Sat.9/5 (Memorial Day Weekend)

- Sat 10/03
- Sat 10/17
- Sat 11/07
- Sat 11/14
Game-day shifts may begin several hours before kickoff and continue through post-game cleanup.
Job Duties
Responsibilities will vary depending on your assigned position and may include:
- Preparing suites, buffet areas, or service stations with food, beverages, and supplies
- Arranging food and beverage displays
- Restocking food, beverages, ice, utensils, and service supplies throughout the game
- Serving food on buffet lines
- Operating and maintaining popcorn, ice cream, nacho, hot dog, or similar stations
- Delivering food and supplies to suites, clubs, or buffet areas
- Collecting used dinnerware and trash
- Maintaining clean and organized food-service and dining areas
- Following all food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures
- Assisting with post-game breakdown and returning excess food and supplies to the kitchen
- Cleaning and organizing equipment and supplies
- Completing other duties as assigned
Pay and Benefits
- $14 per hour
- Work inside exclusive premium areas of Tiger Stadium

Age Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old
- Buffet servers must be at least 18 years old
- Employees who are 16 or 17 years old must complete a Minor Employment Certification Form after hiring. Drake’s Catering will provide assistance with this process.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Be available to work LSU home football games, primarily on Saturdays
- Be dependable and arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- Have reliable transportation
- Work well in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Follow professional appearance, uniform, and workplace policies
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Be able to lift and carry at least 20 pounds
- Remain organized and attentive throughout the shift
Important Information
- According to the LSU Office of International Services, Drakes Catering does not meet the employment requirements to hire international students for these positions.
- This position does not qualify for Federal Work-Study, other work-study programs, internship credit, practicum hours, or academic course credit.
