Landscape Logic is looking for a strong leader to fill a Team Lead position within our installation department. Candidate should have strong leadership and communication skills as well as be able to prioritize tasks and excel in time management. Landscaping and/or masonry experience a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for ensuring that Landscape Logic quality standards are being met and process is being followed on each site in a safe and efficient manner by our crews at all times
- Lead a crew of two or more, providing direction, training, and ensuring high productivity and quality work.
- Oversee and lead crews in landscape installation projects such as property grading, planting, paver installation, water features, seawalls and custom landscape projects.
- Maintain and report job progress within an online platform. This includes time management for crews, job photos and progress notes.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure the team follows safety protocols when handling tools and equipment.
- Be willing to take directions from supervisor and learn new skills and processes.
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- At least two years of experience in landscaping or landscape maintenance, with some experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- General knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant species and hardscaping.
- Strong team management and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to resolve issues that may arise on the job site.
- A clean driving record and the ability to operate landscaping vehicles and machinery. (CDL a plus)
- Outdoor environment, potentially exposed to varying weather conditions.
- Regular lifting of heavy materials and equipment.
- May require working early mornings or weekends, depending on project timelines.
