Job Summary

Duties
- Stock shelves with frozen foods and dairy products, ensuring proper placement and presentation according to merchandising standards
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse
- Use RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking and control, updating stock levels in real-time
- Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent stock discrepancies and manage product rotation to maintain freshness
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments efficiently while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning shelves, equipment, and storage spaces to uphold health standards
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, offering product knowledge, and supporting retail sales efforts
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for all new team members
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanner technology is a plus
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely; certification is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, merchandising, and inventory control
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are beneficial for serving diverse customer needs
- Capable of manual handling including heavy lifting; knowledge of safe lifting practices is essential
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
- Experience in grocery or retail environments involving produce, dairy products, or frozen foods is highly desirable
