Role: Administrative Accounting Coordinator
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Location: Elizabeth, NJ – Hybrid
Pay Rate: $22/hr-$23/hr

Our client is seeking a highly organized Administrative Accounting Coordinator to provide administrative support while managing invoice processing and day-to-day accounting coordination. This contract-to-hire position is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping operations organized, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.

Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.

Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices when applicable.

Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries.

Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems for invoices, purchase orders, and accounting records.

Enter invoice and vendor information into the accounting/ERP system.

Support the Accounts Payable process by preparing documentation and maintaining payment records.

Assist with data entry, document preparation, filing, and general administrative tasks.

Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide administrative support to the accounting and operations teams.

Schedule meetings, manage office correspondence, and assist with special projects as needed.

Ensure records are accurate, organized, and maintained in accordance with company procedures.

1+ years of administrative, accounting, accounts payable, or office support experience.

Experience processing invoices or supporting accounts payable functions preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Experience with accounting or ERP software is a plus.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
