Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of industrial and commercial structures. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, and specialized coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and power tools
- Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute painting tasks according to project specifications
- Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely project completion
- Conduct inspections during and after application to verify quality standards and adherence to safety protocols
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing touches
- Assist with related tasks such as caulking, stucco application, or minor repairs to support overall project progress
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting or related trades with a strong understanding of building material installation and finishing techniques
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans
- Knowledge of various surface preparation methods including concrete forming, plastering, masonry, and restoration work
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, heavy equipment operation, and safety equipment
- Experience with window installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, or masonry is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions for precise application of paint and coatings
- Construction site experience with an emphasis on safety practices and quality assurance standards
