DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position focuses on reviewing and updating resident financial information to determine correct fees and support benefit eligibility. You will play a key part in keeping records accurate and ensuring proper reimbursement for the facility. As a Facility Reimbursement Technician, you will perform the following duties:

- Income and Asset Review: Assess financial details for residents to determine and collect monthly fees
- Expense Investigation: Review unusual expenses or questionable financial circumstances
- Fee Adjustment Processing: Calculate fee changes, prepare required forms, and communicate updated charges
- Benefit Eligibility Support: Complete Medicaid applications and review eligibility for federal and state programs
- Account Verification: Maintain accurate electronic records by confirming credits, charges, and payments
- Resident Correspondence: Respond to inquiries and complaints regarding monthly charges and estate billingInterested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience involving public contact work in the billing and collection of financial accounts or debts; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training. Completion of college-level work with major course work in business administration, finance, accounting, health care management, or a related field may be substituted for required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
