JOB SUMMARY
Assist as needed in classroom and transportation. Ride school bus with students to ensure safety and order; maintain a passenger list and clean bus; attend staff meetings; coordinate paperwork between homes and Head Start center; perform daily complete visual safety checks of bus. Familiarize self with agency performance standards; maintain student and family confidentiality; release children to appropriate guardians; perform various tasks as assigned by supervisor. Position is chiefly responsible for the following core functions of the Head Start program and performs other tasks as needed: program implementation, reception, food preparation and production, health and sanitation, and bus monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Experience working with children ages 3-5. Must pass physical examination, TB, SEL, SCR, fingerprints background check, and drug test. Ability to keep accurate records; must contribute to a positive environment for children; ability to climb stairs and lift children weighing 40-50 pounds; maintain certification in CPR and First Aid if required; valid clean driver license.

Offered compensation: $18/hr - $19/hr
