Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team at Eascor Animal Hospital. The Veterinary Technician will work closely with our veterinary doctor to provide exceptional care to our patients. Responsibilities include:
- Drawing blood, collecting samples, and performing laboratory tests.
- Placing catheters and administering medications as directed by veterinarians.
- Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures.
- Preparing animals for surgery and providing post-operative care.
- Assisting with diagnostic tests, including radiographs, urinalysis, and fecal exams.
- Providing compassionate care and handling to patients throughout their visit.
Requirements:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician, preferred not required.
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary procedures, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.
