Position Overview
Just Peachy Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide one-on-one in-home support for an adult client in the DeKalb County, GA area.
The client has physical disabilities and requires assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). The client uses a wheelchair for mobility, is able to communicate their needs, and actively participates in directing their own care. The ideal caregiver will provide high-quality support while promoting the client's independence, dignity, safety, and overall quality of life.

Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Toileting and incontinence care, as needed
- Safe wheelchair assistance and mobility support
- Assistance with transfers and repositioning
- Meal preparation and assistance with eating, if needed
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry and linen changes
- Assistance with errands and shopping, as needed
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition
- Completing required documentation accurately and timely
- Following the client's individualized plan of care

Experience providing care for individuals with physical disabilities, mobility impairments, or wheelchair users is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- CNA preferred
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background screening
- Ability to safely assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
