Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess 1–4 years of experience in software development and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, as well as a commitment to best practices in software engineering.
Duties
- Design and implement robust, scalable software applications using Ruby on Rails, Java, Python, and C#.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and third-party integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions within Agile methodologies.
- Utilize cloud services such as AWS and Azure for application deployment and management.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
- Maintain version control using GitHub, SVN, and ensure proper documentation of code changes.
- Engage in web development tasks including front-end development with JavaScript frameworks like React and Express.
- Implement database solutions using MySQL, SQL, and ensure data integrity across applications.
- Participate in the design of application architecture with an emphasis on security practices such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
Experience
- 1–4 years of proven experience in software development with a strong portfolio showcasing projects completed using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, C++, C#, .NET, or similar technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Git for version control.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure concepts including Linux environments and application deployment strategies on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Experience in developing web applications with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Knowledge of quantum engineering principles is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
