Job duties entail but are not limited to:
- Greet & establish rapport with patients
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
- Provide intake procedures, including - obtain past and present medical history and record correct information in dental chart
- Assist Doctor chair-side in the performance of the treatment needed
- Set up instruments, equipment and material needed for procedures
- Break down and sterilize operatory after procedures
- Take X-rays as needed
- Assist in laboratory work
- Check inventory and assist with ordering needed supplies
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Function as a team member promoting efficiency, professionalism and team effort
Skills:
- Strong communication Skills a must,
- DANB X-ray & IC certification required
- Proven experience as a dental assistant preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- Good Computer Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Well-organized and reliable
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
