Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning through play
- Support children with their activities, including arts and crafts, storytime, outdoor play, and educational games
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Supervise children during indoor activities, outdoor play, meals, and nap times to ensure their safety at all times
- Support behavior management strategies by encouraging positive interactions and social skills among children
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving needs for infants and toddlers
- Collaborate with team members to monitor each child's progress and communicate any concerns to lead teachers or parents as appropriate
Skills
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities for infants through preschoolers
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment
- Ability to engage children through teaching, caregiving, and behavior management techniques
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with parents

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
