Overview
Innovative Pier Solutions performs helical pier installations for new construction and retrofit applications. We are seeking to hire an individual to perform & oversee our installations. Our service area is largely located in West Michigan. However, occasional overnights are to be expected.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Work with management staff to accomplish project goals.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to guide construction activities.
- Supervise additional equipment operators and laborers on site.
- Record installation data.
- Perform helical pier installations with compact excavators, compact track loader, and hand-held units.
- Collaborate with project managers to address any issues or changes in project scope.
Skills
- Strong ability to operate mini/compact excavators & compact track loaders.
- Excellent general construction knowledge; especially with foundations.
- Ability to accurately record job-site data.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Experience supervising teams in a construction site environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate team collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the construction process.
- CDL required.
We offer a production bonus/incentive program.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
