The Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily store operations, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires an experienced retail leader with strong operational, financial, and people-management skills. The Manager must also be a commissioned Notary Public (or willing and able to obtain and maintain notary certification) to support customer service offerings and ensure compliance with store and state requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations & Compliance
- Manage day-to-day store operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with The UPS Store standards
- Perform Notary Public services in accordance with state laws and store policies
- Ensure adherence to UPS shipping regulations, retail policies, and safety procedures
- Oversee shipping, printing, mailbox services, and retail transactions
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and professional presentation
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–3 years of retail management experience (UPS Store or shipping/printing retail preferred)
- Active Notary Public commission required (or willingness to obtain and maintain certification)
- Strong leadership, customer service, and sales management skills
- Proven ability to manage operations, staff, and financial performance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
