Position Summary:
The primary role of the Dispatch position is safety, ensuring only airworthy aircraft and qualified crews are dispatched, that missions are monitored, leadership is notified for overdue flights, and that all missions are checked-in with accurate, complete, and timely information. The secondary role is reporting the results of operations and possessing the capability for manual operations when MyFlightTrain (MFT) or the internet is not functioning. Dispatchers and the supervisor will be trained and authorized to perform as proctors for student testing.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the aircraft and crews are properly dispatched.
- Provide the crews with the aircraft binder and keys and allow/acknowledge access to the appropriate secured parking apron.
- Provide maintenance with or move to the do not fly box aircraft binders for non-airworthy aircraft.
- When aircraft meter discrepancies arise, the dispatcher shall coordinate and resolve the discrepancy with the Dispatch Manager/Supervisor or maintenance (after business office hours).
- Confirm with returning instructors that they requested fuel with the appropriate Fixed Base Operator (FBO – PAC or Innisfree); assist with calling for fuel when necessary.
- Verify that all student gradesheets are completed/entered prior to the end of the shift.
- Provide reports to program managers including but not limited to the following: daily activity summary with month-to-date cumulative (events, type aircraft, hours, etc.) and the daily OPSUM with month-to-date cumulative (reason codes and notes)
- Assist in entering the cancellation information into the MFT System
- Dispatch Personnel will process point-of-sale payments for training/renters/discovery flights using the person’s credit card information per company guidelines
- Schedule/process paperwork and payments for renters (non-training related) and discovery flights
- Other dispatch functions.
- Train new Program Management team members on how to use MFT for check-out/in and the dispatch procedures.
- Coordinate with the Program Management Offices and the Accounting Department for any student billing issues related to dispatch activities.
- Ensure that dispatch policies and procedures are current and revised as necessary.
- Ensure all dispatch personnel are trained and capable of following the provisions of the safety manual, procedures, and notification protocols.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1+ year of Customer Experience
- 1+ year of experience using excel

- History of prioritizing tasks and multitasking with strong attention to detail

Working conditions:
- Work Conditions: Ambient Office Environment
- Physical Requirement: constant sitting, occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, dexterity to constantly use computer mouse, keyboard and phone
- Schedule requirements:
- Varies and many include days, nights and weekends
- Department hours Saturday-Friday during all flight operations - working primarily nights and weekends
- Business casual dress code with polos provided
Company Reporting Relationships
- Dispatch position reports to the Dispatch Supervisor.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
