Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service. Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
- Create repair orders and clearly explain recommended repairs to customer, providing auto estimates.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely and accurate completion of services. Ordering and securing parts from vendors accurately and keeping track of inventory.
- Keep customers updated on vehicle status throughout the repair process and maintaining their vehicle records precisely.
- Schedule appointments and manage workflow efficiently.
- Process invoices, payments, and vehicle pick-up.
- Foster strong relationships with customers by delivering outstanding service experiences and addressing questions or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- 2+ years proven experience in a dealership or automotive service environment as a Service Advisor or Service Writer.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspension components, gas and diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes.
- Strong understanding of auto estimating software and sales techniques to promote additional services effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Ability to multiple tasks efficiently, dependability, and detail-oriented.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
