Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general grounds maintenance, building repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools and power tools, as well as basic plumbing and electrical repair skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine grounds maintenance, including landscaping, irrigation repairs, snow removal, and property upkeep.
- Complete general building repairs and maintenance, including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and minor remodeling projects.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, leaks, drains, and related equipment.
- Perform basic electrical maintenance, including replacing outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and troubleshooting minor electrical issues.
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify repair needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance, facilities, apartment, hotel, or related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of general building maintenance, plumbing, and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor, including bending, climbing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Applicants must be able to pass a pre-screened drug test, background check.
- Must be able to work in the US as we E-Verify.
- Bilingual is a must.
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
