Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee all cleaning, sanitation, and custodial operations within our hospitality or commercial facility. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks across all departments
- Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure high performance, consistency, and adherence to safety regulations
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols aligned with industry best practices for commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, and hospitality standards
- Monitor sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to optimize operational efficiency
- Foster a positive team environment through effective management communication, conflict resolution, and staff development
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial management within hospitality or commercial environments
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning, janitorial services, and sanitation management
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced settings
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety protocols
- Hands-on experience with laundry operations and hotel or hospitality housekeeping procedures is highly desirable
- Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate with staff, vendors, and other departments effectively
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, enforce sanitation standards, and uphold customer service excellence
